How does the process actually work?

Three steps, no studio visit required: 1) Send the face — upload 1–2 smartphone selfies or candid photos directly via the booking form. 2) Select the narrative — choose your cinematic style (action, romance, dance, comedy and more) and any dedications or music notes. 3) The premiere — receive a venue-ready master, tested to play on ballroom projectors and venue screens with zero tech lag.

What photos do I need to send?

1–2 clear smartphone selfies or candid photos per person you want featured — well-lit, face clearly visible, no sunglasses or heavy filters. JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP are all accepted. No professional photoshoot needed.

Can more than one person be featured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Spotlight Reel features a single celebrant, the Feature Premiere supports up to two (a couple, or a parent and their star), and the Grand Blockbuster supports up to four — a full family or wedding party.

Is this really AI? Will it look fake?

Yes, it's AI-driven facial blending — we're upfront about that. Every subject is calibrated against a 68-point facial mesh and verified for identity match before delivery, aiming for a heightened, cinematic version of the real person rather than a generic synthetic stand-in.

As a founding-client launch offer, all three tiers are currently discounted from list price. The Spotlight Reel — £149 (list £199): 5-minute runtime, single celebrant, 5-day turnaround. The Feature Premiere — £299 (list £399, most popular): 10-minute runtime, up to 2 stars, 3-day turnaround, one complimentary revision pass. The Grand Blockbuster — £549 (list £699): 15-minute runtime, up to 4 stars, 48-hour VIP rush delivery, and a dedicated senior concierge.

What's included in the price?

Every tier — regardless of price — includes full studio art direction, proprietary facial stabilization, and ITU-R broadcast audio compliance. Higher tiers add more runtime, more featured stars, and faster turnaround.

Do you offer custom runtimes or larger groups?

Yes — contact the studio to scope a custom length or a larger cast than the standard tiers cover.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Each tier is a flat production fee. The only optional add-on is a 48-hour rush upgrade on the Spotlight Reel or Feature Premiere tiers (the Grand Blockbuster already includes VIP rush delivery) — your Studio Concierge will always quote any add-on cost before it's added, by email.

How do I pay?

Payment is arranged directly with your Studio Concierge once your date and package are confirmed by email — there's no card payment collected through this website.

How long does production take?

Accepted Answer

5 days for the Spotlight Reel, 3 days for the Feature Premiere, and 48-hour VIP rush for the Grand Blockbuster. A 48-hour rush upgrade is also available on the two smaller tiers.

What formats do you deliver in?

A 1080p Full HD theatrical master as standard, with a 4K master available on request. Delivery is a private digital download link.

Will it actually play on our venue's projector or TV?

Accepted Answer

We guarantee 100% plug-and-play compatibility across hotel banquet projectors, smart TVs, USB drives handed to a DJ, and laptop HDMI-out — every master is test-played against these scenarios before delivery. If your venue's equipment somehow can't play the file, we'll re-encode it at no charge.

Can I get a physical copy?

Delivery is digital-only at the moment — a private download link for every tier. If you need a physical copy for a specific reason, mention it to your Studio Concierge and we'll see what we can arrange.

Can I choose the cinematic style?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our showcase includes action-trailer, festival dance, classic cinema and comedy-roast styles, among others, each paired with matching audio and colour direction. These are original stylistic homages, not reproductions of any studio's copyrighted footage.

Can you add specific music or a dedication message?

Yes — when you select your narrative style you can request custom audio transitions and a celebratory dedication, which our editors build directly into the cut.

How many revisions do I get?

Accepted Answer

The Feature Premiere includes one complimentary revision pass; the other tiers can add one for a small fee. We'll always tell you plainly if a request falls outside what a revision covers before doing extra work.

What if I don't like the result?

Every cut goes through an internal quality pass before it reaches you, and your revision round is there specifically to fix anything that's off. If something's still not right after that, talk to your Studio Concierge directly.

Who sees my photos and footage?

Only the small production team assigned to your project, each bound by a signed NDA — never sold, never shared outside that team, never used to train third-party AI models.

Do I need consent from the people I upload photos of?

Yes. By submitting a photo, you're confirming that person has consented to a stylised cinematic likeness being made of them (or that you're authorised to give that consent on their behalf — for example, as the event organiser).

Can I ask you to delete my data?

Yes, at any time and for any reason. Use the request form on the Private Screening Charter page, or message the Studio Concierge directly — we'll confirm within 2 business days.

What rights do I have to the finished film?

Accepted Answer

A perpetual, exclusive licence to use it for personal purposes — screening it at your event, sharing it with family and friends, posting it on your own social media. Commercial or broadcast use sits outside the standard licence.

How do I reserve a date?

Accepted Answer

Use the enquiry form on the homepage to tell us about your occasion, preferred package and event date. No photo or payment is needed to enquire. The studio confirms availability and booking details by email; submitting the form does not reserve a date.

What's your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Refund percentages scale with how close to your event date you cancel, set out in full when you book. If you're booking as a consumer, you also have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right under UK law.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

Yes. Our private ateliers are in Edinburgh and London, but production itself is fully remote — photos arrive digitally and your master is delivered the same way, wherever you're celebrating.
